Get ready to embark on a journey into the imaginal realm this week! Mercury will receive retroactive gratitude for helping us keep track of and document the details of the experience as the messenger planet holds council with the sun throughout the week’s cosmic events. Mercury blazed through the zodiac sign Leo and grounded into Virgo on August 26th. The midpoint of Mercury’s current cycle will be reached on August 27th; reflect on what was getting stirred up in your mind and heart in mid-July. Memories from that time will help process and make sense of what may surface and is maturing this week.
The surfacing relates to tonight’s Pisces full moon/partial lunar eclipse that will crest overnight on Friday, August 28th at 12:18 am (ET). This full moon will push and blur boundaries and cause the imaginal to feel a little stranger as the opposition between the sun/Mercury in Virgo and full moon in Pisces will be challenged by unusual, yet thought-provoking Uranus Gemini. Pisces is transcendence itself and holds the energy of some of life’s greatest ponderings and unknowns. Full moons usually bring things to the surface, especially when there’s also an eclipse. Expect the unexpected and the weird leading up to and throughout the weekend. As the week and the month close out, we’ll have some assistance and fiery motivation to bring something from the imaginal into fruition as expansive Jupiter and responsible Saturn connect harmoniously.
