Itâs a whopper of a week, cosmic tribe! Every day presents energetic opportunities to slow down, take full advantage of pausing to potentially reset or redirect, and to tune deeply into your inner world to process and release emotions that may be stuck, repressed, or ignored. The week kicks off on Wednesday with the end of the Mercury retrograde in Cancer that began on June 29th. This event alone has most likely been a deep emotional journey into the roots of feelings and family patterns. Important topics for pondering include identifying basic needs and determining if they are being met. Consider whatâs been revealed and what has surfaced over the past few weeks. Saturn follows suit and begins another backward, retrograde journey through Aries on July 26th. The fire of the self has structure, the discovery of the source of more flames begins again. The sun reaches its annual opposition to purifying Pluto on July 27th. This event usually dredges up some soul-searching about identity and whether or not weâre being or becoming our truest selves, and if not, why? What transformation within needs to occur? The relationship we have with ourselves and with others will be triggered as the lovers of the sky, Mars and Venus, are locked into a square aspect all week. This particular square will seek resolution in how we can see things differently and welcome a new perspective to change patterns of idealism or perfection expectations in all relationships, all whilst also working on ourselves.
All aspects and energies grow throughout the week and culminate on July 29th with the Aquarius full moon (exact at 10:35 a.m. ET). Full moons are always a time for reflection, release, and emotional processing; however this full moon is extraordinary as it occurs cozied up to the still present Jupiter/Pluto opposition (sun and Jupiter in Leo opposite moon and Pluto in Aquarius). Jupiter is undergoing its own annual purification in the heart of the sun as the moon waxes to fullness, both illuminating that which Pluto prefers to keep hidden underground in the shadows. Thereâs gold to be discovered in this week, this full moon, and the personal and collective treasure hunt will require a great deal of self-awareness, heart-centered focus, and stillness to truly listen to the whispers of the soul. Finding or engaging more with practices that quiet the mind and assist with tuning into the body and the spirit will be tremendously helpful this week. Find or pick your favorite and do it! July 28/29th - The passionately building Mars and Venus square reaches exactness. The loverâs quarrel at play requires flexibility and imperfection for resolution.
July 29th:
Jupiter and the sun sit together on the throne in Leo sharing the crown for their annual conjunction.
Aquarius full moon (10:35 a.m. ET). The moon in Aquarius opposes the sun in Leo with EXTRA eccentricity, as Pluto in Aquarius and Jupiter in Leo are still opposing each other during this full moon. Chironâs balancing the seesaw with a loose square to the full moon. This one is filled to the brim with so much potential energy with the overarching theme to let your freak flag fly, be your most individuated self, and DONâT DIM TO FIT IN! There are prizes and flower crowns for persisting through this energy. This full moon is also the opener for this yearâs second eclipse season.
