♓♈ The Fish & The Ram ~ March 2025
Are you feeling on the brink of something you can't quite define?
Some of the most sacred initiation chambers and temples look scary from the outside, but are breathtakingly beautiful on the inside. This represents the journey that the soul pilgrim is required to take to reach somewhere sacred. But only the initiated can enter. Perhaps that’s where you are right now. You are being tested, initiated because you are headed somewhere sacred.
Initiations require that we cross the threshold from one world or state of being to the next. We are called to face what scares us, and have to be willing to lose it all, in order to gain a new way of being, of safety, of security, of depth, of meaning.
Initiations, like rites of passage, mark the shift from one age to the next, and can take place because of emotional turmoil, great loss, grief, or devastation. But it is through the seeming hardship that our heart cracks open and our spirit is invested to step forward. We take the sacred voyage into more of who we are and who we came here to be. It can be painful and scary, but once we begin the journey, we can be more ourselves than ever before.
If you are in the middle of an initiation right now, you will get through it and one day soon, you will bless the thing that broke you down and cracked you open because the world needs you open. You are going somewhere sacred. It will be worth it. And you’re closer than you think.
I pulled the above card yesterday, and its message resonates so deeply I felt called to share it with you. We’ve all already endured the tests of Mars’s recent retrograde, which in and of itself is always an initiation, and now we move into March, a month filled with initiations and thresholds. As the planets dance between the end of Pisces and the beginning of Aries, through transcendence and birth, twirling through fairy dust over and over, our minds and hearts will be receiving transmissions unlike any other time before. The two eclipses this month will add even more layers of the liminal to the threshold terroir. Cast your anchor wherever it feels most secure and remember to stay grounded there. It’s a time to observe, receive and trust your intuition. Here are important dates for the month:
March 1st - Venus retrograde begins in Aries
March 14th - Virgo Full Moon/Total Lunar Eclipse (2:54 a.m. ET)
March 15th - Mercury retrograde begins in Aries
March 20th - Equinox/Aries season begins
March 27th - Venus retrograde loops back into Pisces
March 29th - Aries New Moon/Partial Solar Eclipse (6:57 a.m. ET) and Mercury retrograde loops back into Pisces
March 30th - Neptune dips a beard curl into Aries for the first time in any of our lifetimes, with his trident still anchored firmly in his home Piscean waters
Many other cosmic shifts and energies occurring this month will be incorporated into the weekly horoscopes, so be sure to stay tuned to the Cosmic Connection for guidance and more detailed information throughout March.
The total lunar eclipse will be visible in North and South America. Check out more on timeanddate.com for the visibility maps, times, etc.
Happy Birthday Pisces and Aries!
It’s your Solar Return season! If your sun is in Pisces or Aries you will most likely be feeling the effects of March’s cosmic activity more intensely than most. Your sun (and probably a few personal planets too) are getting a lot of action! Solar Return readings can reveal many themes that will be highlighted during your personal year ahead. Use code SOLARRETURN to save $44!
I’m in the thick of it with all of you too and here to support you! Be on the lookout for the announcement about Dragon Readings Live on Substack in mid-March with me and Jess. Also be on the lookout for the dragons to begin making their presence known as we’re now officially in eclipse season. You can dive more deeply into that here and here.
If you’re in the South Jersey area and would like to meet with me for an in-person reading, I’ll be at The Sage Lady on Thursday, the 20th from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
MARCH 2025
I feel like cleaning house this month, both literally and figuratively. I take the time to go through my home and collect what I no longer need, then gladly donate it to someone who can use it. I treasure the happy memories these objects have given me, but the items themselves are no longer necessary. Then I review the old junk taking up room in my head and release it too. I now choose to let go of all hurt and resentment, or any other negative weeds that are crowding my garden of thoughts. I feel so free and light!
