♊♋ The Twins & The Crab ~ June 2025
Brand new energies, another planetary shift and gearing up for the next Mercury retrograde...
As we shift into a new calendar month filled with cosmic energies that are many firsts ever and firsts in many decades, I chose to share an excerpt from Louise Hay’s Embrace Your Power: A Woman’s Guide to Loving Yourself, Breaking Rules, and Bringing Good into Your Life.
This is from the chapter titled Choosing Positive Thoughts and Beliefs:
It is time for all of us to develop our own philosophy of life and to create our own personal laws—statements that we can live by, beliefs that nourish and support us. This is the set of laws that I have developed for myself over a period of time:
I am always safe and divinely protected.
Everything I need to know is revealed to me.
Everything I need comes to me in the perfect time/space sequence.
Life is a joy and filled with love.
I am loving and loved.
I am vibrantly healthy.
I prosper wherever I turn.
I am willing to change and grow.
All is well in my world.
I repeat these statements often. I often begin and end my day with them. I will say them over and over if something goes wrong in any area. For instance, if I feel under the weather, then I repeat “I am vibrantly healthy” until I feel better. If I walk in a dark area, I will repeatedly affirm: “I am always safe and Divinely protected.” These beliefs are so much a part of me that I can turn to them in an instant. I suggest that you make a list that reflects your philosophy of life today. You can always change it or add to it. Create your new personal laws now. Create a safe universe for yourself. The only power that could harm your body or your environment would be your own thoughts and beliefs. These thoughts and beliefs are changeable.
Like everyone else in life, I too have problems and crises. This is the way I have learned to handle them. The moment a problem comes up, I immediately say:
“All is well. Everything is working out for my highest good. Out of this situation only good will come. I am safe.”
Embrace Your Power was first published in 1997, right in the middle of the last time Saturn visited Aries. I wrote about this year’s Saturn ingress and initial, temporary visit to Aries in last month’s newsletter. This is to what I’m referring in the above statement “first in many decades.”
The link to last month’s newsletter is below:
There’s something to revisiting texts, cinema, artwork, historic events, life chapters, etc. that occurred the last time a slower-moving planet visited a specific part of the sky. There’s something else entirely to revisiting them under the influence of a brand new energy (Neptune in Aries) that is also affecting the returning energies. Whether or not you are familiar with Louise Hay’s work, there’s no way to overlook the power of her words, her intentions. her affirmations, her perspective and her pioneering spirit (Aries).
We all have a unique opportunity to carry and pay it forward. Creation and dreaming of the new is something to keep in mind as you read on and as we enter June.
The planetary relay continues this month. Jupiter is next up for its shift from Gemini to Cancer. Jupiter’s sojourn through Gemini (May 25th 2024 is when it began) taught us to diversify our perspective, to tune into our bodies to feel the truth in information, signal and to sharpen our sense of discernment. Jupiter is out of sorts in the sign of Gemini, and this year-long transit has been especially challenging. Jupiter will shift into Cancer on June 9th and remain there until the end of June 2026 (Jupiter spends roughly one year in each zodiac sign). Jupiter in Cancer is a much different energy relative to Gemini. Jupiter is said to be “exalted” in Cancer, much preferring connection, good times with family and friends, nourishing foods and feel-good emotions, intuiting the needs of and providing for others. One description I’ve heard of this upcoming time is one of spiritual nourishment and fulfillment, and I agree with this perspective. Beliefs are one theme associated with Jupiter, and with this fresh energy, creating new beliefs that nourish and support will be one of its many gifts.
Just like with Saturn, when slower-moving planets change signs, it’s a good time to reflect on the last time the transit occurred. Think back to 12 years ago. Mid-2013 - mid-2014 was the last time Jupiter visited this part of the sky and our charts.
The cardinal signs with be challenged with some tension this month, some brand new and some coming back up to find new ways to face old tests. Remember Louise’s words, the excerpt above and that philosophy is changeable and can be changed at any time with new information and a fresh perspective.
Here are important dates for the month:
June 1st - Chiron and Venus meet up in Aries. This will bring up what’s still tugging on our heartstrings, and was the focus of last week’s Cosmic Connection
June 6th - Venus finally leaves the Aries fire for the familiar, peaceful Taurean grounds, continuing to bring up relationship themes with a square to Pluto for the first few days in the new terroir
June 8th - Mercury enters Cancer (squaring Saturn and Neptune along the way)
June 9th - Jupiter enters Cancer
June 11th - Sagittarius Full Moon (3:43 a.m. ET); the Gemini sun and full moon will be building into squaring the nodes of the moon in Pisces and Virgo on the 13th; adaptability in the face of growth and challenge will be highlighted
June 14th - Mars squares Uranus; the creative spirit challenges stability
June 15th - The third and final square between Jupiter and Saturn; the first was in late summer last year, the second on December 24th, both from Jupiter in Gemini to Saturn in Pisces - this one is a different energy with Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn in Aries, yet still flaunts paradox
June 17th - Mars enters Virgo! (finally moving on after spending many, many months in Cancer and Leo due to the retrograde)
June 19th - Jupiter in Cancer squares Neptune in Aries for the first time in any of our lifetimes
June 20th - The Sun shifts into Cancer first squaring Saturn in Aries for the first time in decades, then Neptune in Aries for the first time in any of our lifetimes; the solstice takes on a brand new vibe!
June 24th - The Sun and Jupiter embrace in Cancer; a good day for self-care
June 25th - New Moon in Cancer (6:31 a.m. ET) heavily influenced by Jupiter and challenged by Neptune and Saturn (remember the Embrace Your Power excerpt under this energy)
June 26th - Mercury enters Leo
June 30th - Mercury in Leo enters the pre-retrograde shadow period
As you can see, just about every day in June gifts us a re-visitation and/or a brand new energy to harness. This month brings a significant turning point of the year in many ways, and also sets us up for the continuing planetary relay in July as Uranus is on the move next month. Most are still drifting between signs, giving us a glimpse and then giving us a chance to regain our bearings.
As always, this month’s cosmic energies will be incorporated into my weekly horoscopes and astrology summaries, so be sure to stay tuned to the Cosmic Connection for guidance and more detailed information throughout the month.
I’m personally still navigating and in the midst of a tremendous amount of change!
